Tune 12 instruments

  • Guitar — Standard, Drop D, Drop C, Open G, Open D, Open E, DADGAD, Half-Step Down
  • 12-String Guitar
  • Electric Bass — 4, 5 and 6-string
  • Ukulele — High-G and Low-G
  • Mandolin, Banjo, Puerto Rican Cuatro, and Cuban Tres
  • Violin, Viola, Cello and Contrabass

Two ways to tune

  • Tuning Detect — choose your instrument and string, and PrezTune locks onto the target pitch, guiding the needle to center.
  • Manual Tuning — a chromatic mode that names any note you play, perfect for alternate tunings and quick checks.

Pinpoint accuracy

PrezTune reads your microphone’s raw, unprocessed signal — no automatic gain, echo cancellation, or noise suppression getting in the way — so the pitch detector hears your true tone. A large percentage-based meter plus a cents readout make it easy to land dead-on.

Play a reference note

Not sure what it should sound like? Tap Play Note to hear the exact target pitch for the selected string and tune by ear.

Four visual styles

Make it yours with four hand-crafted looks — Classic (vintage meter + backlit LCD), Modern (clean and flat), Superheroes (bold comic pop), and Futuristic (neon HUD) — each with light and dark themes. Tap any screenshot to enlarge it.

PrezTune backend was developed by Pedro Luis Cruz Burgos and PrezTune frontend was developed by DCSquare3D LLC. PrezTune is authorized and distributed by DCSquare3D LLC. The app requires microphone access to detect pitch; audio is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded or transmitted.
